Hi,
I bought a 24" LED display about a month ago.

When I first hooked it up, I noticed what looked like dust on the screen, but when I went to wipe it off, it became apparent that it was something under the glass but before the actual LCD. I left it a few days and then it seemed to disappear.

Anyway, last week I noticed a small hair under the screen in a different location. Maybe I'm picky, but I'm not accepting that on such an expensive display. I took it to the local Apple Store. They tried cleaning it off, but introduced new hairs into the screen. So, they replaced it with a new screen. So far, I've very happy with the service. Problem being that now I have a dead pixel on the new one :( I'm sure that they will swap it out again, but am I going to perfect screen? Does such a thing exist? Where is Apple's quality control? I've also been through 4 MBP's but that is another story :-|

I can't fault the customer service in my local Apple store so far, they have exceeded expectations.

What do you reckon?

Cheers,
Jordan
