24" LED Screen Flashing Black

Right guys,

i have my mac connected to my 24inch LED monitor only a few weeks old. all of a sudden i connect it up and now it keeps flashing etc.

have a black screen then goes back to my screen then goes black again randomly. all the cables are correctly inserted, just being odd!.

seen a few posts but no answers.

Its a pain and i need it resolved. any ideas?
