24“ M1 iMac: power adapter dimensions

Hello everybody,

Quick question: Can someone tell me the dimensions of the 24“ iMac‘s power adapter (the one with ethernet)? I pre-ordered an iMac, plan to use a wall bracket to attach the power supply to the back of my desk and need to know what size to order. Thanks in advance!

Does the MagSafe cable detach from the power adaptor or is it permanently attached like the old, pre-USB-C power adaptors?

The cable from the power adapter to the iMac is permanently fixed into the brick. The cable from the brick to the wall is detachable (and on mine at least, very slightly wobbly).

Interesting. i was hoping that it might actually be a USB-C port that it plugged into on the brick. I suppose they can't get the power levels they need within the USB-C spec, though.
