240fps on Macbook Pro?

Hey guys,

I have a 2019 MBP and want to purchase a 240hz monitor to be able to play games on 240fps. Not sure if the 2019 models can handle this? I read somewhere that Apple put a limit of 120hz for external monitors but it was an old post.
