That is a good price and there are a mixed bag of reviews on the various sites. The general consensus is to avoid these drives in MBPs (sand force drives in general). Although as the newer firmwares arrive they get better results. Having said that I have a Sandforce drive and "knocking on wood" have had no issues to date with it.
