Peacock is offering new subscribers a chance to get a full year of its premium plan for just $24.99 for your first year, down from the regular price of $79.99 per year. This is only a $5 difference when compared to Peacock's Black Friday discount from last year, making it one of the service's best offers so far in 2025.

Peacock's premium annual plan is the ad-supported tier of the streaming service. This offer excludes current paying subscribers of Peacock, and after it ends the service will return to the regular $79.99 per year price (or then-current price, if a price hike happens).

If you do already have a Peacock account, but you're not a paid subscriber, you can sign in and enter the code SPRINGSAVINGS to redeem this offer. This sale will run through the end of the month and expire on May 30.

I love how they think an ad-supported tier is "premium" 😂

Peacock partners with credit card companies so often that you can get 2-3 months of this premium service for free. I'm currently doing a 3 month deal.

Current subscribers might be able to get a better deal. Many people who went to cancel their subscription were offered an annual price of $19.99

I briefly thought "what's on Peacock?" That was more than enough to not think about subscribing. But I'm guessing some like watching things like Poker Face and We Are Lady Parts.
They actually have some really good movies right now such as Black Bag, The Outfit, and Last Breath. Love Hurts and Wicked were decent. Girl You Know It's True was interesting and pretty sad.

NBC - Smart as a Peacock...

I suspect, with Balkanization of services, companies are desperate to lock in people for longer terms to avoid churn and appear to be stable or growing...

Keep in mind that, as of this month, Peacock no longer allows you to "upgrade" the ad-supported plans by paying the monthly difference like they previously allowed in the past, meaning you can't use this deal as a (discounted) pathway to the ad-free plan.

Last year, when Peacock raised prices, I had enough and cancelled. I got an email the next day with this same offer. There's your leverage over a company that doesn't respect its loyal customers in pursuit of new money. It's called "customer retention," and every cable, phone, ISP and streaming service has a CR department. I use them every time an increase is announced.

Worth it for Premier League Football (soccer) for me, no doubt. We'll let it slip away when the season is over, then bring it back in. After we watch Poker Face, that is.

Ohh boy! $24.99 for a streaming service that sucks! Where do I sign up?
Uh, yeah....Peacock.....been there, done that and cancelled it. They should make the service free and charge to cancel. They'd make more money that way.

My subscription ended yesterday and I took advantage of the deal. I watch a few WWE things on it and might take a look at Poker Face one of these days. I did use it to watch Wrestlmania and if you are a fan of WWE, that's a pretty good deal in itself.

you don't have access to your local NBC?
I've got access to both (local via YTTV and Peacock stream) and almost also revert to watching on Peacock because the video quality tends to be much better on Peacock when streaming on a 3rd generation ATV 4k.

When I clicked to view their plans they only showed me: Premium and Premium Plus. Weird to start with Premium when that has ads...I guess they will try and say you get Live Sports....ok, fine but that's the cool thing already when Peacock and NBC are united. that should just be standard.

Sorry, still not worth it and not going to support a company that took shows off of broadcast TV to charge for them when they are already getting paid through BS carrier fees! We need to stand up against this greed!

I used to watch a lot when it was NBCSN which was included in the package I had since I enjoy alpine skiing, cycling and Indy Car racing. But then they killed NBCSN and wanted $140/year for something I was getting for no extra charge before. Since that is all they have that I'm interested in and Indy Car moved to FSN no way I'm paying what they want for the ad free version. I won't watch the ad version even if they gave it away. If it were reasonably priced I would considering doing a few months during the ski & cycling seasons but I don't see that happening.

They must be owned by Audi…
