Alongside WWDC this week, Logitech announced notable new accessories for the iPad and Apple Vision Pro.

The Logitech Muse is a spatially-tracked stylus developed for use with the Apple Vision Pro. Introduced during the WWDC 2025 keynote address, Muse is intended to support the next generation of spatial computing workflows enabled by visionOS 26. The device incorporates six degrees of freedom (6DoF) tracking, pressure-sensitive tips, and real-time haptic feedback to allow users to interact with digital environments through precise input and tactile realism.

According to Logitech, Muse is intended for use across a wide range of spatial computing applications, including 3D design, collaborative workspaces, and immersive visualization tools. During the keynote, the Muse stylus was used to draw freehand in virtual space, annotate objects, and measure dimensions of virtual items. The device features both physical buttons and gesture controls. Muse will be available later in 2025 through both Logitech and Apple.

Logitech also introduced the Flip Folio, a versatile new keyboard case for iPad Pro and iPad Air models. The accessory includes a full-size Bluetooth keyboard that magnetically attaches to the back of the protective folio case when not in use. The case also includes a multi-angle kickstand that supports both landscape and portrait orientations.

The Flip Folio is compatible with the 11-inch and 13-inch M4 iPad Pro models, as well as the 11-inch and 13-inch M2 and M3 iPad Air. It also supports the 5th generation iPad Air. The keyboard includes dedicated shortcut keys and supports pairing with up to three Bluetooth devices simultaneously. The keyboard is powered by replaceable coin cell batteries with an estimated battery life of up to two years under typical usage.

The Flip Folio is priced at $179.99 in the United States for the 13-inch version and $159.99 for the 11-inch model. Logitech is launching the Flip Folio in several colorways: Graphite and Black will be available globally in June 2025, though Black is exclusive to North America. Additional Pale Grey and Lilac options will arrive in September in select regions, while a Sand color variant will also debut in September as a North America exclusive.

Flip Folio looks good, but where's the TrackPad?
Yeah you'd think that with the latest keynote being focused on the iPad being much more macOS like the trackpad would be an obvious inclusion. Sadly for some reason Logitech has been abandoning trackpad products in their lineup they used to have the K600 now only the K400 has one and some iPad covers do too. IMHO providing an iPad user with a keyboard but no trackpad should be considered criminal. It just feels weird to have the convenience of a keyboard but then have to lean over the keyboard to touch the screen every time . I'm pretty good with hotkeys but no way is the keyboard enough to get through all of iPadOS without the use of a cursor.

Yeah - I had the Apple Keyboard Folio case during the years that we didn't have a 'mouseable' iPadOS, but since we now get the cursors and will soon get windowing, the lack of a built-in trackpad seems like a huge miss.

Worse - I think some folks are going to see it and buy it as a more cost effective 'off-brand' alternative to the Magic Keyboard, only to realize that there is no trackpad when they get to using it.

Literally created this account to ask why apple did not make the apple pencil pro capable of doing this job and letting a third party do so. Bizzare to me. Maybe the AP Pro can't for some reason but i really doubt they couldn't a) plan ahead and make it work or b) retrofit and make it work....

I am very intrigued by the Flip Folio case. I’m in the camp (perhaps minority) that has no use for the iPad Magic Keyboard, as it makes the iPad into a less useful MacBook Air since you can’t use the iPad as a tablet without constantly taking it off of the case, which isn’t very useful when traveling. Lack of the Smart Foilo Keyboard is the one thing that’s prevented me from getting the new iPad Pro so if this is a viable alternative, it would be amazing. Need to wait and see some reviews first to see if the attached keyboard is annoying when holding it as a tablet though. 🤞

If they included a trackpad people would be complaining about the waste of space for the trackpad on a keyboard for a touch device.

At least no one (so far) is complaining that the only reason they didn't include the trackpad is because they want you to buy a Logitech Mouse.

People are always going to complain about something... I think I will just complain about the people who are complaining...

I love the Flip Folo, but more because I love the idea that I can just carry my iPad Pro and my Apple Vision Pro around and then use the Flip Folo keyboard on either of them. I already stuff a Magic Keyboard into my AVP case (I have the Belkin case, and I just let the keyboard hang out of the back compartment). So this would just be an easier to carry multi device keyboard.

Rather than having a Magic Keyboard + the iPad Pro's Magic Keyboard case.

Here's the page for the Flip Folio: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/shop/p/flip-folio

In addition to lacking a trackpad, the Flip Folio with the keyboard weighs more than the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, even if it costs less. Quite disappointing - at this point, you might as well just get a good lightweight folio case, and your choice of any one of a number of good Bluetooth compact keyboards (including some made by Logitech itself).

…Similar logitech products for even laptops include a trackpad though; I own one for my Macbook

I've been using a case and a Logitech key go 2 for a while now, great for when you want a light package to take with you. For those asking about a trackpad, I see this set up more for people who intend to use the iPad as a tablet but might need to do some typing instead of a set up for people who want to be in continuous "laptop mode".

Kindda sad to always see Logitech skipping out on creating these type of covers for iPad mini as well. I mean we already have close 11/13 inch laptops being able and if you add up the price of the cover plus the tablet you're already getting close to the price of an actual MacBook. But to have a compact 8 inch laptop would be quite cool . There's some Chinese brands on amazon that make them but not too sure about the quality of those ..
