I've signed up for a half dozen forums, but the only ones that I frequent on a regular basis is MacRumors and Bonneville Club. I used to be a member of BITOG, but I got banned from that site. I get along with people real well as long as we're not talking about motor oil. ;)

MR and Lube™ Forums (people are so much nicer than those on BITOG)

MR and my skiing forum (it's normally pretty busy over there, #1 poster has more than twice the posts Mr Anderson has here but we're allowed to post crap like entire threads of woohoo emoticons to see who cracks - it's a very fun forum) but a crap ski season here has made the site a bit downtrodden lately so I'm spending more time over here.

More or less MR exclusive.

Registered at the Norwegian Mac1, but that's not exactly a welcoming environment over there, so I doubt I'll post much, or even visit that often.

Recently I also signed up over at 4-3system.com, and that seems much nicer... not too crowded over there, though... yet... ;)

I also read, but never post at, macosxhints.

I'm an Ubuntu forums member but hardly ever post, and I also frequent a football forum or two.

On the Mac side, I've been known to post at TMO and MacNN, but not often.

That's it though. It's too easy to let forums take over your life. I spend enough time on this one as it is.

the only place where i communicate with other people in the net is DeviantArt and MacRumors.

Never found another forum where i feel kind of welcome.

Pretty much MR exclusive at the moment. I'm happy enough dribbling rubbish here. Nothing else I really feel the burning need to discuss on-forum except my Mac gyps and inane ramblings.

I used to be a very, very regular poster on www.thestudentroom.com called Kingslaw.

It is a forum for, well, students (mainly British, but they constantly try to breach out). I had lots of fun over there in my 18 months on it. Many people join when looking for information about British universities and then get hooked and never leave because it is (or was) a very vibrant and friendly forum. I had some great laughs on it.

I was a bit of big-wig on it for a time (my rep power was huuuuge :D ), but left because it became just too addictive, plus it was just getting too big and all the best people started leaving or started bickering with 'noobs' and it lost its fun.

But I still recommend it for anyone 16-18/19 in the UK.

iOnMac Forums.. 6000 odd posts there :)o)
iLounge.. 1000 there, but haven't visited in months and months
Arsenal-Mania.com.. a few hundred
Here.. 2000 ish.

I am rather sad, aren't I.. :p

Only MR and I enjoy it a lot.

Lots of nice posters around here.

I used to belong to a TON of forums, and then got really sick of them all.
I didn't go near forums/message boards for a couple of years. I only recently decided to join MR as I've been constantly reading their rumors for some time now.
Nicest group of online people I've seen anywhere. ;)
