24bit 192khz playback over Mini DisplayPort > HDMI > Onkyo 609

Hey,

I'm trying to play 24bit 192khz hd music from my macbook pro to my Onkyo 609 AV Receiver.

I'm going from the mini display port output to an HDMI adapter (that carries sound), to my Onkyo 609.

The problem is that the Onkyo 609 shows the input is 7.1 Multichannel PCM at 96khz.

Is there a way this can be changed in Lion's audio settings so the correct settings are used e.g. 24bit 192khx 2 channel PCM.

Its ok, I've figured it out.

Needed to change the settings in Audio MIDI Setup menu.
