I apologize for the inconvenience, but it was an issue we did not
anticipate.

It's a design error which we couldn't catch without an iPhone 4 in hand.
Unfortunately, Apple doesn't provide us with the device in advance of launch
for us to verify operational issues. This is an interesting read:

revised case as soon as they are available.
