I was actually wondering if anyone has tried it yet.

Even if it did, How much fidelity are you expecting from the small screen? Perhaps that is a silly question if your primary purpose is for outputting to a TV, but I still am curious.

it will in fact support it. someone here has tested it up to 5000 bps.
