I have a brand spanking new Macbook Pro C2D since tuesday and have been enjoying it to the fullest. No problems at all. No heat or whine issues.. So I thought I got lucky.. Until this morning.

After opening my Macbook pro from sleep, I got stared in the face by a 1440 pixels wide line. 😱 After running a few tests, the pixels appear to be dead. So it's probably a hardware issue.. Its kinda weird that this problem showed up just like that, after running for a few days with no issues.. 😕 Anyway.. I called Apple and they are going to send in a replacement.

Anyone else had a problem like this?

I've seen it before, but not particularly on an MBP....it happens. Hope your new Mac comes swiftly with a wave of good karma! 🙂
