Hey guys,

I have just migrated from using Fedora Linux as my default OS to Mac OS X (after owning a MacBook Pro for almost a year), and now I am looking in to the BSD UNIX parts of OS X. I am a heavy user of terminals, and on Mac OS X, Terminal.app is the one bundled with, and it also works very well, but after googling for a day or so, I still cant get Terminal.app to use 256 colors - it uses only 8 colors it seems, which i think is default, but this doesnt work so well with the apps i use in the terminal (e.g. GNU Screen, irssi and Vim).

So how do I get Terminal.app to use 256 colors?

Thank you so far,
ChrisBuchholz
