Not complaining, this is awesome! 256 GB?! God damn, my iPad Pro 128 GB is only a quarter full and my MacBook Pro (256 GB) is hardly full. Can't imagine how I'm gonna fill up 256 so fast! But at least it's set for the future.

Meh, 256GB is pretty small. It's always been pretty easy for me to fill up storage. Built a 12TB server a few years back. That's all full so now I plan on upgrading to something hot-swappable with 40TB.

Having 256GB on the iPad just means I don't have to churn content quite as often. :p

It seems like an infinite amount of space but I'm sure over time it'll seem like nothing. Remember what 1gb looked like just 20 years ago

Laptops and Desktops always filled quickly with raw files and movies alongside some lossless rips. But with Apple Music and cloud storage and everything accessible on the web, on iOS a 64 GB device can already take care of a trip or two.

Surely that's older than 20 years. I had a Western Digital 1.2GB drive in 1995 and it was 3.5" IDE form factor.

Link your Dropbox account to a file manager app like documents and download everything to your iPad so they are accessible offline. That chews up space pretty fast.
