256GB Crucial RealSSD C300 in my MabBook pro Sept 2008

Does anybody know if the 256GB Crucial RealSSD C300 2.5-inch SATA 6GB/s
(http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CTFDDAC256MAG-1G1) will fit in my Macbook Pro unibody sept 2008 15"?
Or is some other SSD recommended?

I don't see why not. I'm putting mine in a core i7 tomorrow. Should be basicly the same.

Of course it will fit in that computer.

Yepp, the crucial drive should fit, the only problem is that the 355 MB/s are rated for a SATA III connection and if the Macbook does not have that, then I assume your performance will drop to that of a SATA II connection and maybe 230 MB/s tops.

Go rather for a MX technology DS SSD or Runcore Kylin II. They use the new SF1200 and SF1500 controller and provide some 285 MB/s read and write speeds + inbuilt garbage collection so your performance wont drop over time.
