I like the cached disk controller on the 2nd page...

... Promises to make disk access 40 times faster than non-caching systems... The controller moves data to and from the hard disks at a full 5-megabyte-per-second bandwidth... costs $1395

 Now for about half of that, you can buy an Areca 1231ML and equip it with 2GB of cache that will move data to and from disks at up to 275MB/s.

So that's a 1000x increase in cache, a 55x increase in disk bandwidth all for about half the money. A lot of difference 20 years can make.

If you extrapolate that out, in 20 years we will have 2TB of cache on our RAID cards, with 15GB/s data bandwidth per disk, and it should all cost about $300. :D

That's the one that got my attention. And it only went for $9,099 (color VGA option incl.). :p

Oh yeah, and there's an article on Apple's suit against MS and HP on pg. 34 too. :D
