The new tinted option was one of the things I was most looking forward to with 26.1, but having updated my M4 MBA and enabled the setting, I can't see any difference anywhere. I've been scouring the OS for the better part of an hour now.

Am I just missing something obvious? If people can see a difference, please post a screenshot so I can find it, because like I said I'm at a loss here.

Where are you looking? It applies only to the most extreme kind of liquid glass, so it means the menu, Quick Look, the toolbar buttons, notifications, Music and Podcast control bars, and that's it.

Do you mean from the menu bar and things like Control Center? Everything there looks exactly the same to me, whether I toggle the control or not.

No, Control Center is not a menu.

Look at how the icons are less visible behind the menu.

It's not the best. On iOS it's worse. It's supposed to be a different more readable mode, not a "make all my notifications ugly with a super white background" mode like on iOS.
