normal running temp is always 145-150F
 
It is always warm with me except when I am working it really hard.

I have been up for a few hours. Watch videos, and it starts to smoke😀
 
I have adium,mail,iTunes, and safari open i maintain this temp most of the time on my MacBook 2.0 ghz stock....

ill update it so its the computer and not the core temps.. i just have to update my iStat widgets and how do i install the speedit.kext? Please help with Speedit
 
normal operating temp is between 60 and 75C (140-167F) depending on what i'm doing. i believe my record high is 81C (177.8F) and my record low is 16C (60.8F).

I have a fan controller that reads different temperatures.

Sawtooth G4/450Mhz

Between CPU and heatsink: 86 F
In heatsink: 84 F
Between RAM slots: 97 F

IT'S COLD IN THERE!

Whew! I thought mine was running extra warm. It has jumped up to 170F once but its normall between 130-145F.
 
I have nothing to compare this to other than the bottom temp

and its fairly cool...

(look in the menu bar)

 
My iMac kicks up to about 91-95C overtime, or when ripping cds or editing in iMovie. 🙁

With both internal fans and an external blowing across the keyboard kicking into overdrive.

Not too bad, but I never run it like this, too loud.


BTW I'm pretty sure I have the excessive thermal-paste problem, my MBP is one of the first.

^ you have one in fahrenheit the other in Celsius, i dont think you have a problem at all, considering!
