27" 2011 Glass Panel Replacement Compatibility

I recently purchased an iMac (Oct 2011), and over the weekend the glass panel was accidentally broken. I can't seem to locate any replacement panels for its part number 810-3557. I'm considering purchasing the (mid-2011) 922-9833, but I'm unsure of its compatibility with mine.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? Have they recently changed anything that would cause this to be incompatible? Should I be aware of anything when buying OEM off ebay?

ps. how was it smashed?

922-9833 is the current one for all Mid-2011 iMacs manufactured after may 2011. but apple can order those easily.
