27" 5k iMac: Can I mount a Mid-2017 display on a Late-2015 iMac?

My question is fully given in the title. The Late-2015 has a broken display, and I might have access to a Mid-2017 screen. Would the two work together?

There was another thread just a few days ago with the same question. The answer was that the display from the 2017 is the same as the display from the 2015 and should fit/work okay.
