I don't know why this isn't getting more discussion.
I always found it annoying how I had to increase the brightness of my display when it was really sunny and bright outside and then had to turn it back down when it was dark/cloudy, instead of it automatically dimming/brightening based on ambient light.
Well they finally fixed that! I wonder if the new iMacs have this sensor as well.
