27" ACD noise

Hi all,

When for example my Mac plays a warning noise through the ACD's speakers, there's like some hissing noise that plays just a few seconds before and for a few seconds after.
It's like "hiss"-"alert sound"-"hiiisssssss".

I don't expect this on monitor of this quality.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Are there any solutions?

Hi

All can suggest is try a different USB port for that side of it.

I have a USB port on my Mac Pro that is crackly in the sound department.

Hi,

I don't think it happens when I'm playing music.
It's only when there are brief sounds like system alerts.
