27" Cinema Display with image persistence

Hi folks,

I have a 9 month old ACD 27". Unfortunately, in the lower right corner of the screen, I see some level of image persistence - it looks like a portion of the System Preferences screen.

Has anyone had any success using a white screen to "burn it out", or alternatively, getting it serviced with Apple? I had similar issues with several 24" iMac, so I'm a little disappointed.
