27'' iMac Display Broken?

Hi guys, I have a 27'' iMac, but the screen isnt displaying anything. The backlight is on, and I can get an image through my external display. It is the 2009 model and have 4gbs ram, i7 2.8ghz.

So no output to Built-In display or External display (on display port)?

-Check display port adapter.
-Try a boot from the reinstall disc.

Yes, I have external display. The internal one doesn't show anything other than a black screen (the backlight is on though)
