This has only happened twice... but it's certainly disconcerting and if the computer has gone to sleep without me saving a doc, then there's data loss involved as well.

Unfortunately, not a lot of details to go on, but it would at least seem there's a BT component involved. Keyboard and trackpad, both BT.

The first time this happened, I scrounged around for a USB mouse and keyboard and was able to get the iMac to wake up and I could log in. No real harm done. I did have to putz around with BT (turn off, turn on) to get the kbd and trackpad reconnected.

OK, stuff happens, move on.

Well, this morning, same sort of signature. Grrrr. Go get the USB kbd and mouse, but this time, no luck getting the iMac out of sleep. Had to hit the power button to force a reboot. Grrrr.

Much like the first time, there definitely is a BT component again, I see these types of messages all over Console:

(I'll have to do something about GoogleSoftwareUpdate, but I'm leaning towards that being a non-factor)

At this point, I'm posting only in the hope that someone else has had a similar issue. I didn't see anything matching this signature in my first search, I'll be looking.

Edited to add: I did the zap PRAM and reset SMC thing after the first incident. I also know about BT disappearing after power issues, but this iMac is behind a UPS and I see no indication of power issues in the Console.

Mainly I'm posting about the whole iMac being unresponsive, even with a USB kbd and mouse attached.
