I have had this iMac since '11 and all of a sudden for no reason it shuts down. I have talked with Applecare to no avail. Anyone have any ideas how to stop this? Thanks:(

The one time this happened to me was when one of my DIMMs failed. But it could also be a fan that causes overheating. Have you installed Temperature Monitor to watch if the temp spikes just before shutdown? I think iStat Monitor will also report your gpu diode temp (or maybe it's atMonitor).
