So I amd going to be buying a 27 inch imac with 8 gigs of ram with in the next week and I was wondering as far as a multiple monitor set up what it can handle. I am going to be using it for the new final cut pro x so I want to hook up another 27" monitor and also to a TV for viewing. The TV I will probably get will be in the 46" range. What port do I need on the TV that would be the best way to hook up the TV to it.

Skip the ram from Apple, add your own, 5 year old could do it.

The only reason I am getting the extra ram is because macconnection is running a special right now where the extra 4 gb's is only 89 bucks.

Also, I kinda figured the extra monitors would be that easy, I just wanted to check with people who have actually done it.

Now one more question for you guys, is getting the SSD worth it right now for all the extra money that it costs?
