27 inch iMac 2011 SSD shippiong time DOWN to 1-2 weeks!!!

i just saw that late last night! ive been waitiing to pull the trigger on this for months and as soon as the BTS promo launches, im going with it. i need it early July (the 1st-8th) so if i order on june 15th/16th, it shouldnt be a problem! I was originally just going to go with the 27in, 3.4, i7 w/ no SSD because i need the comp by early july and couldnt wait until the end of july or early august. but now i can haz SSD!!! :D

does the shipping time change affect anyone else's decision on what to buy?
 
I ordered my 27SSD about 10 hours ago and ship date was June 27, deliver date was July 1, just for reference. Should deliver before that though.

Music to my ears :) Thanks for giving an update. I plan on ordering on Wednesday (with or without the BTs promo) so this way it fits right into my July 5th-8th timeframe.:D
 
!!! Stop the presses !!! The iMac has been out "4 to 6 weeks" so yes it would eventually come down.

hehe yea its gunna be my 1st mac so im a tad excited for it :). ive been saving and planning for everything for close to 4-5 months so im all happy to let my naiveness run wild lol. i wanted an SSD all along but got frustrated by the 4-6 week wait. i backed off the idea but when i saw the wait time drop i got smiley. youve shouldve seen my face when i saw the shipping time drop again today to only a 5-7 day wait lolol

It's down to 2-4 business days on Canadian and US online stores.:)

Ordered mine on Jun 16 as well. Original estimated delivery Jun 30 -Jul 6. The order status is still Not yet shipped tho.
 
I ordered mine on the 13th, shipped the 16th and arrived in my town tonight (17th)...ie they are shipping quickly :) The first thing that will happen is your credit card will be charged, then it will show "prepared for shipment", then shipped, all happens within 24 hours.

Thanks for letting me know especially it reached your town in just one day.

I guess I can expect to have it before end of next week!:)
 
I ordered mine with the SSD option on june 16th and it said up to 7 days but it shipped on the 17th so only one day.

Saw from your post in the other thread that you have ordered the exact same config as mine from Apple.ca. I think I ordered around the same time as you did (9:25am EDT/6:25am PDT). Mine is still "Not yet shipped" though. Strange:confused:
