I have a mid-2010 iMac that's been a great desktop for design on the whole. The problem is that whether it actually starts up is completely unreliable. I've tried the whole "reset the SMC" trick but it doesn't seem to affect the likelihood that it comes on. Once the machine is on, it works perfectly; I've never had a crash, any faults or wonky behavior, so I don't think it's the logic board or the RAM. Could it be the power supply? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
