27'' Thunderbolt display flickering

So, i have this 27'' Thunderbolt Display for about 2 and half years and so far so good…

Today it started, out of nowhere, to blink randomly. I can't really reproduce the problem. It could start doing as soon as I turn on the computer or half hour later.


I have a 2011 MBP 17'' running Mountain Lion.

I know that there was some kind of fix for the 24'' flickering thingy, but anyone knows anything about the 27''?

Probably is worthy pointing out that, before the flickering started, i heard a single beep coming from my desk… I was not at the computer at the time, but i heard it coming from that direction… Can't say for sure if it was my MBP, my display, my phone or whatever electronics i have in that direction…

It was a single beep and my computer was turned on (it was on screensaver).
