Hi, I am planning on adding a monitor to my Mac mini. I can't decide on whether to get a 29" or 27".My question is the 29" seem to have 2560x1080p resolution but the 27" has 2560x1440 resolution. This monitor is going to be my work monitor so I would not use it to play games or watch movies, but a crisp text and more desktop area are a must. I have the feeling that the 29", even tho it is larger, it would not display as more desktop while the 27" has a higher resolution,
it will have a bigger destop area and clearer text. Am I correct?

Thanks.

I would without a doubt choose the 27" which has 1440 vertical resolution over the 29" which is 1080 pixel high. I find 1080 vertical resolution too short on a laptop screen, let alone a 29".
