How do I turn my iSight's green light off?

How do I use my iSight without the green light being turned on? I just wanna use it but not have the active green light on.

Cover it with some opaque tape.

Take the bezel off the display and cut the wire going to the light.

The green light is an activity light for the camera. It comes on when the camera is on - that's how it works. If you don't want the light on then turn off the camera.

If you have a black book.. some plain black electrical tape should work...
