I'm calling the cops
I thought I would go ahead and give the logo a VERY minor Web 2.0 look. Tell me what you think:

EDIT: Took some things into account that people said.

It looks nice. The Apple looks a little streched out horizontally though.

It's the hortz gradient that's doing that. Just liek when someone wears stripes that go long ways, it makes them look fatter. Just click and drag the new one over the old one and you'll see they are the same.

Wow. Well still, the Apple logo still looks fatter.

What? Huh?

Well, see, in the Web 1.0 days, people would ask questions but nobody would ever answer. For Web 3.0, I think the plan is to keep the question/answer thing, but to use telepathy instead.

How about changing the color to green to better reflect the rumors?

Obligatory Web 2.0 logo effect, as always. Also, no longer does the red question mark dot remind me of a "tulip". :)

No, its fine as is.

If anything maybe change the font colors.

As Arn has stated before he might change some things but the Logo stays as is.

I've been coming to this site for how many years... and i just notice the apple has a question mark.... Shows how observant i am  :p

Wow, likewise. seems so weird how subliminal messages are all around us! Ever notice the apple logo on that computer of yours;)

Honestly?

Awful spack. The subtlety of the curves has gone... it's like a stroke has been added to each element. The gradient does nothing except make it less visible.

I know this logo pretty well. Essentially, I had to recreate it, redraw it, as an eps for the Demi-Award certificates as the bastards that run this site wouldn't release a press-ready version to me. :D ;)

So yeah... no.

MacRumors web 2.0. (Horrible, I know. But someone had to do it :D )
and
MacRumors Mole.
