I'm still hunting for an alternative to Daemon tools. If you have a dvd iso it will mount it but can't play it. Any other options?

Any piece of software that is looking for a cd/dvd player on say an MBA or MBP Retina. Those machines do not have a cd/dvd player and without any 3rd party software the iso images are mounted as a bog standard disk image making them look more like folders than actual discs. As far as I know Toast is the only piece of software that gives you a virtual cd/dvd player like Daemon Tools does.Huh? Whats keeping you from just mounting it normally without any third party software, and then just open "DVD Player" program. It should auto start playing the mounted "DVD" image just fine?
