Hi all
I am new to this iphone thing. I have 2 iphones: a 2G (edge) and a 3G both I got unlocked from someone, I am wondering about the compatibility of the charging accessories:

1) Can I use the 2G USB data cable for 3G data transfer?
2) Can I use the 2G USB data cable for 3G charging?
3) Can I use the 3G USB data cable for 2G data transfer?
4) Can I use the 3G USB data cable for 2G charging?
5) are the AC/DC wall/cigarette lighter (which have USB plugs) compatible for both 2G and 3G?

Thanks for your help

yes to all. It's just a USB cable. And the chargers may look different but they both supply the same number of watts. Just make sure not to use the 3g iphone wall charger.
Just make sure to return your 3g iPhone charger in mid October because of the recall. Check the front page for the story

Hope I helped!

Dude... thanks.. that helps a lot.
I don't have the original 3G wall charger :)

The reason I ask abt the compatibility is some ebay sellers say they are not compatible.
