2G /3G toggle in iOS 8.1 not seen in iphone 6plus

I had an iphone 5 and was very happy when apple brought back the 2g/3g toggle in 8.1 since I live in an area with poor 3g coverage and the phones battery would die down soon as it just tried to keep connecting to 3G. There was a dramatic improvement in battery life once I used 2g and kept 3G only when I wanted browse. I sold my iphone 5 and bought a 6 plus- but the same toggle doesn't appear in 6 plus even though its also on 8.1 . Anyone else notice this issue?

What carrier do you have?

My iPhone 5 on verizon does not show those toggled. I have only a LTE switch on or off.
