iPod touch 2g iTouch Wireless problems

I have the 2g iTouch and at home my wireless works just fine. However when I go to school I pick up the school's signal but I can't connect to it even though I know the password. To fix this I've already tried restarting my iTouch, toggling the wireless on and off, and even restoring the iTouch. If you have any serious suggestions I would love to hear them.

A lot of kids at my school who have the 2g have the same exact problem. I have the 1g and it's perfect both at home and at school. I'm not exactly sure what it is about the 2g's that the school's internet won't connect.

my friend and i both have 1g iPod Touches and for a long time he couldnt connect to our schools wireless at all and i could. then one day he could connect and he never had a problem with it again. it was weird. i dont know what he did to get it workin
