2G to 3Gs

I don't know what to do.....

My 2G got water damaged but is still sort of usable. I'm getting the 3Gs on Friday.

iTunes still recognizes my damaged phone. Do I still need to do a full sync (and download 3.0 for that matter) before I pick up the new phone?

Or should I leave everything as it is?

Will I get a new sim card?

No the 3G S has a new SIM I believe. I would just synch it one more time to back up your data...maybe not even today, but on Friday. That way your 3G S will be up to date with your 2G's data.

Yeah, it will just ask if you want to I think. It's not mandatory.
