Am I going crazy or did Apple finally boost our volumes up even for us ol' 2G users. I tested my ringtones and they seem to be about twice as loud. This makes a significant increase in speaker volume imo. Also the speaker seems much louder when streaming any kind of music or youtube video. It unbelievable! Anyone else notice this with the 3.0 update.

Can't say I've noticed this with a 3G. I'll pay more attention from now on, but that was a big complaint I had about the phone.....I have to use speaker and then put it to my ear to even hear.

Seems about the same to me, at least it is nothing too noticeable IMO

Actually, I'm with you on this one. Well, for sms alerts at least. At work I always have my 3G turned to the lowest volume possible, but since I put 3.0 on I am convinced it is louder when a message comes in.
