2GB Flash card wont work with iPhoto 05

I am having a problem getting iPhoto 05 to recognize my digital camera with a 2GB flash card in it. Works fine with 256MB card. Is there a limitation with iPhoto 05 or OS 10.4?

I have tried this on a Quicksliver Mac, 10.2.8, iPhoto 04 and a G5 iMac, 10.4.x, iPhoto 05

Any suggestions?
