Morning troops,

My old man and I bought 2.4 ghz alu macbooks at the same time. We both have 2gb of ram and would both like to upgrade to 4.

Would it be possible to purchase one set of crucial sticks and then simply take the 2gb original ram from his unit and replace it into mine, utilizing both matched crucial sticks in his computer? Giving us both 4gb.

The MB's were both purchased on the same date and are identical in spec.

Regards
CR

Unfortunately, that is not possible, the MacBooks ship with two 1GB RAM sticks : / You would have to buy two 4GB sets I'm afraid.
