I play games like The Sims and will likely play more games. I don’t do any video or music production at the moment but want to pursuer both in the future.

Is it worth the $90?

The Radeon Pro 560 is roughly 50% faster than the Pro 555, in addition to offering twice the VRAM. It is the single upgrade with the best price/performance ration Apple currently offers in any notebook.
Well ok then I just bought the version with 4gb, The Sims 4 better not lag like it did with my 2015 macbook pro antymore

According to Notebookcheck, Sims 4 runs at 63 fps average on ultra settings on 1080p. Will probably be a bit worse when played under macOS though.

(Radeon Pro 460 is identical to 560)

I have the 2016 variant with the Radeon 460 and the Sims 4 originally was getting 30+ FPS in native resolution on ultra, but after they added the Pets expansion it went down to 20+ unless I turned it to medium. I added Windows 10 via Bootcamp and now get around 58+. I like all the details of Ultra so I sadly have to rock out to Windows to play. The Mac version of the Sims always feels like its a lower priority to EA.
