I want a 11.6 model but not sure if the 2GB Ram 64GB model would be enough, I would be using it for emails, Internet browsing, FaceTime, a bit I excel, word processing and maybe hooking up an external drive to watch movies, should I go for a basic 11.6 model or go for 13.3 model with 4GB Ram and 128GB?
Suggestions anyone?

All models come with 4 GB of RAM standard now, and can be configured with up to 512 GB. So you can get whatever size screen you want, with whatever memory and storage you want.

Will be getting a second hand 2011 model to be honest.

OK, but even so you can get one with 4GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD if that's what you want.

I wouldn't recommend less than 4 GB of RAM for anyone, but you might be OK with the 64 GB SSD if you have an external drive.

Definitely get one with 4GB of RAM. The extra 128GB of storage would be important to me too, but the RAM is critical.
