2nd gen apple tv movie rental problem

Rented days of thunder hd and it's been over an hour and it's still not streaming. Ran speed test on my MacBook and also my iPad and I am getting 20.32 Mbps down and 7 Mbps up is that not enough. If it takes this long I am thinking about returning it. If this is the case and I return it does anyone know of a cheap way to stream my music from my Mac to my stereo. Cheaper then 99 bucks that is. Thanks
