im not sure what thy will do if you look at other high end watch they weigh about the same and the thickness is the same compare a apple link to a rolex and the size is in depth is about the same so i guess they can make it a tinny better thiner but not to thin or it won't even look like a watch anymore seriously and 50grams is for a 42 apple watch is nothing in weight compared to rolex that get up to 5 pounds in weight i mostly see just hardware changes coming

• better battery life
• more water resistant (30m - wear almost anywhere!)
• more storage options
• ability to get SS SGB with a sports band?
