I've been trying to analyze geekbench scores and stuff, but i'm still confused.

How much faster are the 2nd gen processors? Not in terms of graphics acceleration, or media encoding acceleration, but just the cpu itself.

For example, what would be the speed equivalent for a 1st gen 2.8 i7 cpu?
