was a solution ever found for the intermittent touch responsiveness in the 2nd gen iPad Pro’s and a few other iPads from around that time? I still have the issue on the 10.5inch iPad Pro.
 
I have the same problem my 12.9 2nd gen, can't be bothered now as the screen is broken around Touch ID. Battery life is still great as compared with the m1 pro 12.9 with I tried earlier this year my 4 year old pro was better battery life
