Hi there,

I'm considering buying a second hand macbook pro, which I would use mostly to run Modul8 (vjing), Final Cut, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator.

I wonder which of these options would offer better performance - they're about the same price.
I'm particuarly unsure about the graphics cards - also how the other specs would affect their perf anyway

(no info on HD speed)

# Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.2GHz Processor (T7500)
# Nividia GeForce 8600M - 128MB Graphics Card
# 4GB RAM (DDR2)
# Brand New 320GB Hard Drive

and

# Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.33GHz Processor (T7600)
# ATI Radeon X1600 - 256MB Graphics Card
# 3GB RAM (DDR2)
# Brand New 250GB Hard Drive
(bit cheaper)

......
and there's this one
which I think is better performance overall
- if so then I just need to decide if I can sacrifice storage! :(

# Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.4GHz Processor (T8300)
# Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT - 256MB Graphics Card
# 3GB RAM (DDR2)
# 160GB Hard Drive

lots of info but in short, which one will run video better?

THANKS LOTS

I had the ati with the 256 and it performed great. And also all of the 8600s are defective get the ati

thanks guys that's great!

are all the 8600s dodgy, even the GT?
can their dodginess be explained in novice terms?:)

(I'm only digging further as have found in the small print that the ATI has no wireless and i know that's probably gonna get annoying)

THANKS
