2nd Hard Drive in PowerBook 15" G4

I have 2 PowerBooks. One is getting an ssd, so I thought about making the second into a server b/c of the drop in memory. The PowerBook already has one hd, and could I replace the superdrive with the donated hd? It would be great to do this. Thanks a lot!
