Hello,

I have leopard on a MBP 2.2 C2D. I have a few drives on a USB hub. I connect my hub to my laptop, and everything is fine...then if I take my laptop, after unmounting drives, and return to plug the hub back in, the drives mount, just not on the desktop. They show up in finder, but not on the desktop. Sometimes, they mount, but I can only see them in terminal. Anyone know this bug?

Matt

Me too...

I have a 2.15 MBP C2D and two external LaCie USB disk.

One is a LaCie 320 Gb splitted in 5 partition and the other is a LaCie 500 Gb Disk splitted in 6 partition.

The first one came up every time with no problem and it does disconnect without any problem. The second one does show on desktop after several connect/disconnect.
I rebuilded it with Diskwarrior with no results... I'm very unhappy...

Also, Diskwarrior says "this disk does not appear on the desktop". Great, but the solution ?

I just go to finder properties, and un check and check the box for show hard drives on desktop, and they appear
